Judge Dredd, Judge Death Lives Comic Book Storyline Explained
In Judge Dredd - Judge Death Lives, Judge Death comes from a twisted dimension where it was deemed that all crime is committed by the living and that life itself is a crime. Judge Death is an inhuman fiend intent on wiping every breathing thing from existence and he has arrived in Mega-City One to continue his merciless mission. This story introduces Judge Death's Dark Judges who are just as evil as Judge Death. Their names are Judge Fear, Judge Fire, and Judge Mortis. Who are the Dark Judges - The Dark Judges consist of Judge Death, Judge Mortis, Judge Fear, and Judge Fire. Trivia - the game Judge Dredd vs Death 2003 gave the dark judge's voices for the first time and the 3rd time for judge death. In pop culture, Judge Death held almost equal popularity as Judge Dredd and was the reason why we had Judge Death feature in crossover comics like Batman/Judge Dredd: Judgment on Gotham. It is often argued that Judge Death could have been a future version of Judge Dredd himself because Judge Dredd was not far behind in his ability to inflict violence on criminals.
